Sriram H. Iyer is the President & Chief Executive Officer of ICICI Bank, Canada and Regional Head of ICICI Bank's operations in North America, including the United States. Mr Iyer was a core member of the executive team that established ICICI Bank in Canada in 2003. Under Mr. Iyer's leadership, ICICI Bank Canada has become one of the fastest growing banks in Canada, positioned as a full–service direct bank. Mr. Iyer is an active participant with business and not–for–profit organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Conference Board of Canada a not–for–profit applied research organization in Canada; The Indus Entrepreneurs, the world's largest not–for–profit organization that fosters entrepreneurship; and Pratham, a Canadian registered charity. Under Mr. Iyer's management, ICICI Bank has been recognized by the Canadian Helen Keller Centre in 2009 for the Bank's ongoing support to many local charitable causes. In 2008, Mr. Iyer was honoured as one of Canada's Top 40 Under 40TM – a prestigious national award that honours 40 Canadians under the age of 40 – for his achievement, strategic judgment and leadership of ICICI Bank Canada as well as his community involvement and contribution. Mr. Iyer holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Mr. Iyer is also a corporate director having completed the Directors Education Program conducted by the Institute of Corporate Directors. |
